As an Early Childhood Education Specialist at Northwest Regional Education Service District, my job is to provide educational programs and consultation to parents and community pre-school organizations  to meet the individual needs of children with disabilities and/or special needs, from birth to five years of age.

 
Ethnic Racial Studies Program, Work-Study Marketing Coordinator 
April 2022 - June 2022

As the Marketing Coordinator for the Ethnic Racial Studies Program, my job is to promote the Minor’s Program offered at Southern Oregon University. I create flyers, and brochures and collaborate with faculty, student-led clubs, and community organizations to promote the program.

 
Success at Southern, TRIO-SSS Peer Mentor

May 2021 - March 2022 

As the TRIO-SSS Student Peer Mentor, my job is to help achieve the program's goal of increasing the retention and graduation rates of first-generation students, low-income students, and students with disabilities. I foster growth, share personal interests, support fellow TRIO-SSS participants, and help them adapt to university life.

As the Director of Public relations, I am responsible for updating and maintaining the ASSOU website and social media page. I work beside the ASSOU President and Vice President to do work for ASSOU to build awareness and tranquility for SOU students.

Front Desk Agent, The Plaza Inn & Suites

As a Front Desk Agent, I make reservations for guests, check guests in and out of the hotel and attend to their needs. I also serve as the guest's first line of contact and manage their reservation and accommodations.

Executive at Large, Oregon Students Association

September 2019 - June 2020  

As an Executive At Large, I and other board members, from universities and colleges in Oregon, were in charge of the legal responsibilities and financial directions of the Oregon Students Association

Director of Multicultural Affairs, ASSOU Student Government 

​June 2019 - June 2020

As the Director of Multicultural Affairs, my job was to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for students of color at Southern Oregon University. I organized, supported, and assured that the concerns of Black, Indigenous, and students of color about the campus environment, were being carried to the President, Vice President, and Director of Multicultural Affairs. 

My biggest job as the Director of Multicultural Affairs was to recruit students of color for the Oregon Students of Color Conference (OSCC). OSCC is a three-day forum focused on education around social and political inequalities for students of color. Around 300 students from all over Oregon attend this forum and it is a wonderful opportunity for students of color to network and connect with people from universities and colleges all over Oregon. 

Hiring Committee Member, Oregon Students Association

​December 2019 - January 2020 

As a hiring committee member, myself and other committee members worked with the Executive Director of the Oregon Students Association (OSA) to hire OSA’s new Organizing Director. I analyzed the top four applicants and discussed them with the other board members. I also helped interview the candidates and by the end, and the committee members voted on which candidates would best fit the position.

Events Coordinator, SOU Multicultural Resource Center

​June 2019 - March 2020

As the events coordinator, I worked with a team to create events catered towards diversity and inclusion on campus.  Some major events I hosted were BIPOC Take Over, BIPOC Discussions, and Chocolate Chip Cookie Discussions. These specific events were catered to create a safe space for Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) to come together and talk about their experiences of being BIPOC on campus and in town. They were also created as a way for students to connect with each other, share stories, and discuss effective change within the campus environment.

As a Night Auditor, I checked in late arrivals, counted the cash drawer, made coffee, and did the night audit report.  I also interacted with guests and attended to their needs.
