Black To The Future| BSU x OSF Collaboration
In partnership with the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, the Black Student Union presents "Black to the Future," an on-stage performance. The purpose of this event was to allow Black students and Black residence to establish their presence in Oregon by taking up space and showcasing talented Black artists, musicians, dancers, poets and more.
As the director and producer, I worked effortlessly to produce and direct this nine-month project with my team. Unfortunately due to the global pandemic the 2020 showcase was canceled.

As the President of the Black Student Union at Southern Oregon University, I made it my mission to create spaces for Black students on campus. The work that I did as a president allowed Black students to establish their presence here on campus. One of the ways BSU does that is by hosting events. The pictures you are about to see capture BSU members during many of the events we held on campus.
